Getting started

What is OddStorm?

OddStorm is a sports arbitrage (surebet) service. It scans the odds of dozens of bookmakers in real time, detects arbitrage opportunities, and shows you exactly how much to stake on each outcome to lock in a profit whatever the result.

Does OddStorm place bets automatically?

No. OddStorm is not a betting bot. It finds the opportunities, calculates the stakes, and on the Elite plan the desktop app can navigate your browser straight to the right event at the bookmaker. Placing the bets is always up to you, and we never log into your bookmaker accounts.

Web app or desktop app: what is the difference?

The web app runs in any modern browser and covers InPlay and PreMatch surebets, middles, odds comparison and the calculator. The desktop app is Windows only and adds the features that need deeper integration: Navigation, Back/Lay surebets, and market and period filters (Settings, then the Filter Markets and Filter Periods tabs).

Download the desktop app

Can I use OddStorm on a Mac?

The web app works in any browser, macOS included. The desktop app is Windows only, so Mac users run it inside a Windows virtual machine.

Is there a free trial?

Yes: a 24-hour Elite PreMatch+InPlay trial, available Monday to Thursday, one per user. Create a free account on our website, then contact support at least 24 hours in advance from the email you registered with and tell us which date suits you.

Arbitrage essentials

How much money do I need to start?

You can start small while you learn the flow, but the arithmetic starts working from roughly 1,000 to 2,000 EUR spread across your bookmakers. Arbitrage profit is a percentage of turnover, typically 1 to 3 percent per arb, so your bankroll determines what the same work actually earns.

How many bookmaker accounts do I need?

Around ten is a practical start: enough that arbs regularly appear between books you hold, few enough to manage deposits and verification. Prioritize the sharp anchors (Pinnacle, exchanges) plus the biggest soft bookmakers available in your country, then grow the list over time.

How much can I realistically earn?

Active arbers commonly target around 10 to 20 percent of their bankroll per month. The driver is turnover: each arb locks in a small percentage, so results scale with how many arbs you place and how much you can stake. Anyone promising fixed income or spectacular returns is not being honest with you.

What are the most common beginner mistakes?

Chasing suspiciously high arbs (often bookmaker errors that get voided), placing one leg and hesitating on the other, ignoring stake rounding so your bets scream arbitrage, and starting with real money before the routine is automatic. Do a few paper trades first: pick an arb, write down the stakes, watch both legs settle.

Why do odds move and how fast do I need to act?

Odds move constantly as bookmakers react to news and incoming bets. An arbitrage is a temporary disagreement between two books, so it can vanish in seconds, especially InPlay. Place the leg most likely to move first (usually the sharp bookmaker), then complete the other leg immediately.

Why should I avoid arbs above 10 percent?

A very high percentage is usually a bookmaker mistake, a so-called palpable error, and bookmaker terms allow them to void such bets. If one leg gets voided you are left holding an open bet, not an arbitrage. Steady profit lives in the 1 to 5 percent range.

InPlay or PreMatch arbing: which should I choose?

PreMatch is calmer: you have more time to place both legs, but arbs are smaller and appear more slowly. InPlay produces more and bigger arbs because odds move fast, but you must act in seconds and mistakes cost more. Most arbers start PreMatch and add InPlay once the routine is automatic.

How do I avoid getting limited by bookmakers?

Behave like a recreational bettor: round your stakes to 20, 50 or 100, skip suspiciously high arbs and obvious errors, withdraw rarely and in round amounts, and occasionally bet popular markets. Sharp bookmakers and exchanges (Pinnacle, Betfair) welcome winners and do not limit accounts.

Do I owe taxes on arbitrage profit?

That depends entirely on your country: some tax gambling winnings, many do not, and a few tax bookmaker turnover instead. We cannot give tax advice; check your local rules or ask an accountant.

Plans and billing

What is the difference between Pro and Elite?

The only difference is the Navigation feature: in the desktop app it opens the bookmaker and navigates straight to the right event for you. Scanning speed, odds and timing are identical on both tiers.

What plans are available?

A plan is a tier (Pro or Elite), a product (PreMatch, InPlay, or PreMatch+InPlay) and a duration (1, 6 or 12 months). That is the whole catalog: there are no weekly or 3-month plans.

How much does it cost?

Current prices are always on the pricing page and can change over time. They are the same for everyone: prices are non-negotiable and there are no discount codes.

Do subscriptions renew automatically?

Some payment methods (card, Skrill) support automatic renewal. You can see and manage renewal at any time from the Subscription page after signing in.

What happens if I buy a second subscription?

Subscriptions stack: they run one after the other, never in parallel. Two 1-month subscriptions bought on June 4 give you access until August 4.

Can I get a refund?

Your first paid subscription has a 7-day money-back guarantee: within 7 days of the first charge you get a full refund, no fee, filed with one click from your Billing page. Outside that window refunds are discretionary: a pro rata amount for the unused time minus a processing fee of 15 to 35 EUR, decided case by case. Pausing your subscription (paid days preserved) or transferring it to another user is often the better deal.

Terms and Conditions

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes, self-service from your Subscription page. One pause can last up to one sixth of your billing period (5 days on a monthly plan, 30 on a 6-month, 60 on an annual), with at most 60 paused days and 3 pauses per rolling year. While paused your access stops and paid days are preserved; on resume your end date shifts by the paused time. Free trials cannot be paused, and Skrill-billed subscriptions need our support team to arrange it.

Open your Subscription page

Can I transfer my subscription to someone else?

Yes. Contact support from the email you registered with and we will arrange the transfer.

Why do I see profits capped at 0.50% and hidden names?

That is the free preview. Without an active subscription profits are capped at 0.50% and event and league names stay hidden. Everything unlocks the moment a subscription or trial is active.

Using OddStorm

Which bookmakers do you support?

The live list, including PreMatch and InPlay availability, is on our Supported Bookmakers page. Inside the app you can also open the Bookmakers panel on the left in PreMatch or InPlay to see and customize your own selection.

Supported bookmakers

Can I filter by market or period (1X2, Over/Under, corners)?

Market and period filters are available in the desktop app only: open Settings, then the Filter Markets and Filter Periods tabs. The web app does not filter by bet types.

Download the desktop app

What is Navigation?

An Elite feature of the desktop app. One click opens the bookmaker site and navigates straight to the event of the arbitrage, so you spend seconds on placement instead of searching manually.

How do I access Back/Lay surebets?

Back/Lay surebets (a bookmaker against a betting exchange) are available in the desktop app only.

Download the desktop app

What does a red arbitrage mean?

Red means the arbitrage has expired and no longer exists. Odds move fast, especially InPlay, so expired arbs are marked instead of silently disappearing.

Do you offer value bets?

Every surebet has value on its soft side. If value betting is your strategy, use the filters and place only the soft side of the arbitrage.

Troubleshooting

The odds do not match my bookmaker. What should I send you?

Four things: whether it is InPlay or PreMatch, the full web address of the bookmaker you use, a screenshot of the arb calculator with the Odd History visible, and a screenshot of the odd at your bookmaker. Many bookmakers run clone sites with slightly different odds, so the exact domain matters.

The desktop app says 'no network' but my internet works

This usually means your password contains special symbols. Change your password from My Profile on the website to one with only Latin letters and digits, then sign in to the desktop app again.

A bookmaker stopped updating. Is it down?

Check the live status on the Supported Bookmakers page: temporarily down bookmakers are marked there. Our team sees the same signal and works on fixes with top priority.

Supported bookmakers

Which bookmakers are legal in my country?

Licensing differs per country and we cannot verify it for you. Please check with your local gambling regulator which of the supported bookmakers are licensed to operate in your region.

Do you support brokers (BetInAsia, MollyBet)?

No. OddStorm does not work with brokers in general; we scan the bookmakers on the supported list directly.

Do you offer an odds API?

Odds data via API is provided by our sister service OddFeeds. Contact them directly for access and pricing.
